  In response to the recent vitriol posted by a client regarding her rough coat collie, I can attest to this: Brenda is a professional groomer and instructor. The key word here being professional. She knows proper grooms inside and out for all breeds. Perhaps one should refrain from strong emotional reactions and slander a business because they do not get their expectations met. If a dog is matted so badly that shaving is required, then that is a neglect and failure upon that dogs owner to maintain and upkeep a regular grooming schedule. Groomers are not magicians! You cannot expect show room grooms when you present with a matted dog. A fur mat is not a simple tangle that can be removed simply by brushing it lightly. If shaving was done it is because no other choice was left but to do so for the well being of the the dog! Combing out a mat is both very painful to the dog and a waste if time. Humanity before vanity people! Bottom line, Brenda knows what she is doing!

  Brenda is one of the most caring compassionate groomers I have had the pleasure of working beside. Her top most concern is the health and safety of the animal that it's in her care. I learned so much while I work along side her. She has so much patients and that's what makes an incredible groomer. She has done an amazing job with the Academy since she has taken ownership. From the interior being redone to how she goes about teaching her students and how she treats her employees. I hope one day i get the chance of being able to move back east and work for her. Good job with everything Brenda.

  Brenda puts her everything into this business and takes such amazing care to make every dog as comfortable as they can be. she will do her very best to give each and every client what they ask for and does a very good job of giving people what they want, even the most odd requests as long as it doesn't hurt the animal and that the request is in line with the condition of the pet. always puts the dogs well being above anything else and will do what's best for the dog. I am so proud to have learned from a professional with that much love for all of the animals.

  Took my cat to Brendas for a brush and nail trim. she was so good with him and did such a great job at getting a lot of his hair out! will be going back fro sure !
