  The nice men at Enterprise saw my exchange with Jolene on the day I picked up the car. They saw my eyes fill with tears out of frustration and offered to help me with a rental. Had I not have booked though Airmiles I would have torn up the agreement and taken them up on their offer. Next time I will be sure to rent with Enterprise at the Moncton airport.

  This costumer service is so frustrating. I know it is not a reflection of Budget as a whole because I have had excellent service from the folks at Dundas Budget in Toronto. This is absolutely the result of having a very unprofessional team working at the Moncton Airport branch. I'm sure that I'm not the only customer who has been treated this way by Jolene (last name unknown) and Natalie. In fact, according to the other reviews, it seems that others have had these experiences too.

  Then, I called Natalie at Budget (same location) on my way to return the vehicle. I told her I would be a few minutes past 2pm. She said that my airmiles points rented the car until 2pm and that there was a 29 minute grace period. I delivered the car at 2:26pm and there was no one at the desk so the keys were left in the box. I even asked the man next to Budget to be my witness and he gave me a good laugh and said "no problem" like he knew what I was talking about with this woman's attitude.

  When I arrived to pick up the car Budget Avis's system was down and they were unable to process my credit card electronically so Jolene called to verify for the security deposit. She told me that my credit card was not approved. I asked her to try again and she refused. This exchange went on for 15 minutes while I continuously asked her to try again because I knew that my card had plenty of space. Finally, I called Mastercard and they said that there was no charge attempt on my card and that Jolene must have entered the numbers wrong. I relayed this information to Jolene and she rolled her eyes at me. I know this sounds ridiculous but, I too was shocked. My anxiety was making me shake and I knew I had to then get in a car and make the 3 hour drive to have Thanksgiving dinner with my family.

  I was shocked to see my credit card had been charged $90. First, I only agreed to pay for a $25 upgrade (and signed a contract saying that) and second, I returned the car within the grace period time and should absolutely not have been charged.

  I rented a car on October 8th at 11:30am from Jolene (she would not give me her last name) at the Moncton airport. and have never experienced such poor (and heartless) customer service.

  The customer service at the Budget Rental depot at the Moncton is fantastic. They are very friendly professional and get you on your way very quickly. I would definitely recommend them to friends.

  I offered for Jolene to speak with the woman from Mastercard over my personal cellphone but she would not. Then she decided to try to call and verify by card again. This time, the person on the other line said that there wasn't a problem and that my card was fine to put the deposit on. This could have been resolved had she just tried again when I asked her to. Instead, it took over an hour before I was able to get on the road.

  Absolute garbage service. Pointless to make reservations when they cannot honor them. They knew what time I was arriving they knew what plane I was on. No one called or emailed to tell me I would be sleeping on the floor waiting for them to open.
